An oxygen mask is used to breathe oxygen through both the nose and mouth. The length of the connecting tube is 2 m, which provides comfortable therapy when the oxygen source is near the patient. You can fix the oxygen mask on the face with an elastic band (supplied with the mask).
Oxygen masks are usually used in cases where breathing through the nose is difficult or impossible and a person has to breathe through the mouth. If the patient breathes freely through the nose, it is recommended to use oxygen nasal cannulas ("tubes" in the nose). Due to the minimal area of contact with the face, nasal cannulas are convenient to use and practically do not interfere with talking, eating, etc.
