U-shaped pillow with slope
The pillow is the main element of the semi-bird position with the torso and head raised 30 degrees.
The design of the pillow ensures a stable position for the semi-hunter with stable support for the torso and head. The tilt function provides additional support for the hip and pelvis and is used as a tactile proprioceptive stimulus. The half-fowler position allows for breathing and is also unique in terms of pressure distribution. In addition, the pillow helps optimize activities such as tube feeding.
The pillow can also be used to stabilize the pelvis while sitting in bed, on the edge of the bed, or on an exercise bench. The weight and quality of the material prevent unstable deposits and regulate temperature, which provides a better microclimate.
The pillow can be advantageously supplemented with the Head Stabilizer small article NTG08 or the Head Stabilizer large article NTG09 along the spine or to create lumbar sway.

The cover is made of breathable, elastic, waterproof, antibacterial and fire-resistant polyurethane. It is EN14126 certified against ingress and is also used as a PPE class 3B standard against ingress of viruses.
Next Generation positioning pads can be quickly washed off with disinfectants and dried in a few minutes.
