Every 6 minutes, 50 % of the mattress inflates whilst the other 50 % deflates. The alternating pressure pad, with large, interchangeable air cells, offers additional comfort: Of the 18 cells, the 8 cells between the shoulder and hip release air through the micropores to optimise air circulation and provide comfort to the particularly high-risk sacral area.
