This thermal blanket protects against hypothermia by actively creating heat. Made of a non-woven fabric interwoven with 12 chemical elements which reacts with the air to create warmth if the blanket is removed from the vacuum packaging. The blanket heats to ca. 38 °C with in 10 minutes (possible max. temperature 52 °C) and retains this temperature for ca. 8 hours.
